Practice has shown that many of the challenges facing innovation in medical technology have only insufficient solutions. This situation results in existing products and systems not delivering the desired results. Furthermore, there is a growing need for innovation in medical technology due to the demographic development of society, and the increase in chronic diseases that comes with this. In addition to this, there is the potential of thus far unsatisfactory or even untreatable conditions.
At this interface between medical needs and solutions provided by medical technology, MIN as a venture builder supports young businesses and innovations with equity capital, management and market experience as well as business contacts. In return we receive shares in these businesses, the percentage of which ranges from small stake to majority ownership.
Moreover, we also selectively work with young companies in the BioTech area, for instance around the important topic of drug repositioning.
